I only buy insurance from agents or brokers that have 10+ years in the business. Nowadays, i see agents that are barely out of high school selling insurance. That's like asking a kid to run a business person's multimillion dollar business.
If it's something that just involves a few thou it' fine, but for a product that can potentially have a devastating consequence on my family or business, it's best to stay away from really young newbies.

@ladymerakina I actually use it to my advantage. My age that is. Most people deal with guys that my be in there 50"s or so and that is fine but think of it this way. When you deal with some one like that and you around the same age or even younger. When you want to retire your agent has already retired unless he works through his 60"s or 70's. The younger guys however will be able to help you as long as they stay in the business for the rest of your life. I have watched my dad do this sorta

@ladymerakina thing for about 10 years now I know my stuff. Now since I'm just starting out I don't know everything but thats how everyone starts with pretty much anything. I'm starting to see that alot of guys who are young doing extremly well. You would be surprised of how smart we "Young Newbies" can actually be. And if a kid could run a multimillion dollar business then let him if he can handle and do a great job. I mean some kids are getting out of college at like 18 or so.
