By Katrina Smith:
Hundreds of costumed runners lined up for a 2.5-mile competitive mud dash Saturday in downtown Reno as part of second day Reno Riverfest activities. Participants registered in pairs, where one partner would run with a bar of soap and then pass it off to their partner when they returned to the finish line. The main attraction, a mudpit, greeted runners midway through the relay in Idlewild Park in Reno.
