Yes, you can use a combination of patch and one of the oral NRT products. Patch and gum , or patch and lozenges are good combinations.

Many people worry about overdosing themselves, but people who smoke are used to large amounts of nicotine.

Try using a patch and take the lozenges hourly to start with until you know what you need.

I didn't know you could use the patch and lozenges simultaneously. Is that not too much nicotine? The reason I ask is that I've heard that you shouldn't smoke any cigarettes at all if you're using the patch -- I don't mean just because that would be rather counterproductive,but because it would deliver too much nicotine. Could you elaborate, please? Thanks! I want to quit smoking soon using lozenges. I tried patches and found they just didn't quell the ravings that well for me.
