What a load of cobblers....
All we got from Granada was a crappy 20 inch TV which had dry joints on the PCB every week. I think the TV repairman spent more time in our house than we did!

True, but the domestic Betamax wasn't launched in the UK until 1978, 3 years after Japan and the USA.
