Union Pacific locomotives UP 5464, and UP 7394 southbound leaving Oxnard, CA with UP locomotive 8491, which was involved in the fatal Metrolink/UP railroad collision in 2008 in Chatsworth, CA. Southbound, I am following this train on a parallel road. Here is a related news article from the Ventura County Star: http://www.vcstar.com/news/2010/jan/25/trains-involved-in-metrolink-crash-mov...

  • wow, nice to see some one has this in action.

was 8491 the lead engine on the freight train?

  • xXDJ...I don't think this was the lead engine, because it does not seem to have as much damage as the other - They are on their way to Moorpark to pick up the lead engine, and on their way then to Colton, CA, according to the story linked to my video.
