I wore the grooves out of my recording of this and others when I was young. I was lucky enough to work with Tom briefly in 2001, when he was doing some G & S coaching for young singers.

I was lucky enough to see Thomas Round at the 92nd Street Y in Manhattan almost 50 years ago.
In this Thomas was Marco. His brother, Giuseppe was played by Alan Styler. Those who know how (I'm not smart enough) -- please upload his work.
He's one of the few performers who appears on the early Richmond discs and the later London. How remarkably his voice changed.
Died at 45. Shame. Saw him in Trial by Jury at te City Center. Seemed a dashing fellow.

Lovely singing by Thomas Round and deft conducting by Isidore Godfrey. A true gem! Thanks.
