  • LOL I WOULD KILL TO BE IN YOUR SHOIES (in medschool) RIGHT NOW!

  • @safarsafar1234 then go for it!

  • Some thoughts before pediatrics credit tomorrow:

We all have thought the same question - third year in med. school - long days and longer nights with books and mindmaps and PPP and just keep memorizing...

    Why did I do this?

But then you remember why. And you will be silent. And continue to memorize the symptoms of VSD.

Just hang in there and continue to struggle.

  • @TheDevotionable i've made it, and i know exactly what you mean =)

  • What bothers me is that getting into med school and getting through are so difficult and so much work. But anybody with a room temp IQ can get a law degree somewhere and second guess anything a physician does and sell it to 12 ignoramuses and take the physician's money, self esteem, practice, sanity...Need I go on??? Happens all the time. "First, kill all the lawyers."

  • I'm in the same boat. It's a means to an end, buddy. Everyone starts out at the bottom of the heap as a chump. Lawyers starting out go through the same thing, as a clark. Once you get through it you'll have earned the privilages that come with being a doctor, and you'll have a chance to improve the experience of the next generation of medical students (if that's what you decide to do).

I'm looking forward to being a Dr, but yes, life at the moment sucks. Guess it depends how badly you want it.

  • @someoneunknownful hello. did things get better for you? are you studying audiology? :)

  • This is that feeling u have when you're preparing for an exam the following morning, and let's just say your head is too full it feels empty!!!!

  • @callistinea i've been working for a year now... and lets just say i am poorer than a lot of my friends, but i must say although the majority of work is depressing, there are certain moments which make everything worthwhile =)

  • @aramosmd4201 yeh that is so true - noone knows!

  • No one knows the stress & dedication of being a medical student!!!

  • Keep at it! Just remember that you'll get through in the end and when you graduate...you'll have your first ever lovely fat paycheck to look forward to. And after a few years working you will have out-earned a lot of your friends. Good luck :)
