  • I am pro-life but I really don't go for the graphic images, unless really needed. There are some people who need to understand what abortion does and there are some people who get pushed the opposite way when they see the images. The most awesome thing we can do for women about to make the decision to have an abortion is pray for them and love them NO MATTER WHAT:)

  • I show this film in my Composition II class as part of a lesson on the Rogerian Argument, which is coming to a middle ground.

  • This movie had a lot of great character actors. Alexander Payne directs movies that you can follow all the way...quite the opposite of David Lynch..who leaves the viewer confused most of the time.

  • LOL! The moon song! I love this movie!

  • Laura Dern blew me away in this movie. The word "fearless" is thrown around too much I think re: actors, but that's what her peformance was: no holds barred fearless. Hilarious and hearbreaking.

  • Wonderful film. One of the few films with the courage to confront the "culture wars" head on. Laura Dern is excellent in it, too.

  • I don't know what it is I like about this movie, it's not the language or a beauty queen for sure, but I taped it and have watched it many times. I think it is because the actors are so realistic...that is, all but Burt Reynolds, however Ruths mother is played by her real mother, Diane Ladd.

  • I love the New York times. Think you guys can mail me some shirts? I have one from years and years ago, but it's kinda worn out now.
