Well one day i was bored so i decided to make this video. At first i was embarresed to show anyone...... soon you will know why haha! but then i realized that im a goofy goober and i love being one haha well thats about it enjoy!!
I'm from Ohio, the state with the largest groups of Amish. Jakob Amman, the Mennonite bishop who created the division, lived in Jura, the French-speaking part of Switzerland. When there was religious persecution he moved to France to avoid it. His followers were eventually called Amish. Yes, some may be from Germany which borders Switzerland, but there are groups even today who live in the U.S. as their Swiss heritage; speaking a Swiss dialect.
I just noticed another comment about a truck being in the background. She is not at an Amish house. Amish young people have places to go off the farm and some stay in "uniform", especially the girls, while they investigate the outside world. Yes, some of their actions may be rather awkward or out of character when they're away from their parents but that's part of getting used to being away from a strict society temporarily--or permanently. They have a choice.
I don't know how many people you fooled but you can't fool me. The voice is Taylor Ware, America's Yodeling Sweetheart.. Believe me because I have Taylor's CD's and must have listened to that particular song about a thousand times. The voice on this fake video is Taylor Ware.
To those who think this is fake, or she's not Amish, I have news for you. Most Amish are descendants of the Swiss. There are Amish in certain sections of the country who can yodel and speak a dialect of the Swiss language. As far as the young lady's singing style, the Amish may not be as expressive as she was but in their rumspringa days they're liable to feel free to expressive themselves any way they want to.
if you going to be lip synching maybe the word and mouth should be a little closer to each other

@wesohio I'm from Lancaster, PA, home of the Amish. Amish are referred to as Pennsylvania Dutch and actually come from Germany.
