Dream Theater - Innocence Faded outro Solo - Thiago Campos

I'm on a mission to learn Dream Theater's 'Awake' entirely. Today I spent a good amount of my afternoon learning and practicing the outro solo to Innocence Faded. I figured I'd tackle the harder sections of the album first. It's an awesome solo, but DAMN it's hard. For me atleast. :)

This might've been the 1000th take... I left the cam running and played it a billion times with the track on repeat... then chose a take for youtube.

It was a pretty good take actually... I just fixed a small part later on with audio from another take (got the notes right on the left hand but the picking hand went funny). I'd be glad if I could repeat this consistently, but that's not the reality for now.. This will keep me busy for many weeks until I'm able to do it live.

i play the final arpeggios by string skipping, and i will not even attempt to learn those final arpeggios in one position... my hat is off to you sir

@iPR0SH0T Thanks! Yeah, I play them string-skipping these days also. At the time I had just learned this solo and was still figuring out the best fingerings. It was a cool arppegio practice that way anyhow.
