Happy independence day to all the Indians all across the world! Hope we let the fires of patriotism burn even if we are miles away from our country. I pray that with each passing day we learn to value, respect, and honour our country. Give India the boost she needs to gain the position she deserves on the world map! Every Indian has the power to take our country forward....one step at a time! Jai Hind!
The song featuring in this video was recorded in 2005 by my mother Rajasree Mukherjee and myself, in an album called Pyara Bharat. The song is the Sanskrit version of the Bangla song "dhono dhanne pushpe bhora."
