The "NanoHigh" program, a collaboration between the City School District of Albany and the UAlbany College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering is believed to be the first-of-its kind program in the United States, giving students lab and cleanroom experience at CNSE's unparalleled $14 billion megaplex. On Thursday, June 7, 2012, 15 students graduated from the year-long program where they learned crucial science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) skills. Meanwhile, interest only grows, as triple the number of students from this year's class have already signed up for next year's.
