  • unfortunately for every story like this theres 20 more thats the opposite. I dont think pit bulls should be killed...they aint monsters. However I think they need to be watched closer than most dog breeds.

  • @buonocj Yeah but 19 of those arfe not pits they are a mix or another breed....I could put up a poster with 10 dogs and it would take the media 10X to pick out the pit. Pits are least likely to actually bite a human, unless they are trained to....unfortanaetly pits are the #1 mistreated dog and trained to bite...so what does this tell you?? It is humans that need to be watched closer!

  • @tarantulaguy1976 i agree some except I know of a story persionally of a little girl being attacked by a pure breed pit. all she did was open the door so the dog could go outside. They had papers and all saying it was pure breed Theres no way of knowing if there is one gene from some other dog.

  • @buonocj No dog breed is all good, but no dog breed is all bad either....agreed.

  • As a kid I was attacked by my neighbors rottweiler in my own backyard. My childhood pet a purebred blue nose pit had darted out the doggy door. He saved me from serious injury and possible death that day. Unfortunately we had to put him down because of laws that said the dog that saved my life was a monster. Needless to say I have had a pit in my house and protecting my family everyday since. When you see a pit acting aggressive, realize he is protecting his family as you would protect yours.

  • man, sad to hear. that is one great dog! props to you for putting this to video as im sure it was hard for you to think about what happened with your son. as for pits being harmful or aggressive- pitbulls by nature are hard fighters&hard lovers with experience of three family members pits, they love to lick your face off!!! people hurt others with weapons, do we blame the weapon? and ban or petition the sale of these weapons? no its the persons fault. so why blame a dog for how it was raised

  • Incredible story. Animals aren't given enough credit. Beautiful family Rob.

  • Awesome awesome video dude, ANY dog can be brought up and be evil, as can any dog be brought up PROPERLY and be as lonvig and as nice as your dog :)

  • Brought a tear to my eye...amazing...

  • i love it.! bless ur pit.!(:

  • @tarantulaguy1976 i agree im happy im not the only one!

  • Love the vid and your story.

  • @kisses1965 not saying that other dogs shouldnt be watched just saying pits are a breed that needs to be watched. Correct me if I'm wrong but wasnt pits bred as catch dogs to catch wild hogs and such? Its instinctive. Even if they arent trained or taught to do it. I'm sure you wasnt trained to have sex yet I bet you know how to do it.
