The same system that brought several inches of snow to the deserts of Arizona moved into the plain states Tuesday night bring several inches, to several feet, of snow in its path. High winds and dramatically colder temps followed suit creating extremely slick roadways and blizzard like conditions to folks to my south and east. Three days later, folks continue to dig out from this one.

  • Anyone else bugged by the use of the Home Alone theme as Christmas music? (Wizards in Winter would be cool if they didn't use it every other local forecast.)

  • @CombatSportFan I actually thought it was kinda cool!

  • I think it wouldn't bother me as much if they would throw some classics in there as well. But the other night, I heard it continually, and it felt like they were phasing out the traditional Weather Channel Christmas stuff.

It just won't feel like Christmas until I start hearing "Silent Night" and "Linus and Lucy" on the Locals.

  • Im nervous that David Arkenstone's "I Saw Three Ships" will finally be retired after 19 years of being used. :-(

  • I didn't know you were still recording current twc clips.

  • @Localonthe8s I don't archive them anymore. I stopped doing that in '05. I just record maybe one or two a year direct to the computer just to post here.
