It's a Bass VI
30 scale 6 string bass tuned EADGBE an octave down.
The Jaguar and Jazzmaster bodies a modified versions of the Bass VI body.

The delay is set exactly where Robert Smiths is for this song live and on disc. He nailed the tone and settings, the notes, not so much.

does anyone know of an "Open" cover????

Man that Bass VI tone.
My Hellcat VI comes close, but just doesn't have that warmth.
Whod've thought a Bass VI, a CE2 and a DD3 could make that yummies.

Okay well there is no sense in denying your picking was shoddy in this video, but wow your tone is amazing! I can't squeeze a tone like that out of my les paul but i want it so bad.. good work

Yeah, I never properly learned this one, I just kind of picked it up by ear.

It's a chorus and a delay, no reverb.
