Cigar box Guitar

This is my first CBG. Took about 7 hours to build and about $10.00 worth of parts. Looks better than it sounds, and that isn't saying much. 1 1/2"x3/4"x36" poplar for the neck. 1 3/4" finishing nails for frets. Cigar box for the body. 5/16 all thread for the bridge.
And I robbed a bunch of stuff off a cheap acoustic.
I think its decent for a CBG thrown together in a couple of hours with things laying around.

Are those Nylon strings? Would you recommend Nylon or Steel?

I'm building mine soon, but I'm not doing the neck-thru design, I'm making a bridge.

Cool. Yeah i used steel strings on this one. I think Nylon would be something cool to try out. Make a video when you finish and put it up so we can all see it.

hey buddy, did you try tuning it to an open chord and try some slide? might get some different sounds.

Do You Think You Well Use A Router tool To File The Points Of THe Nails And If You Do Can You Make Another Video Of This Ciger Box Guitar And Play Like You Were At The Begining??????????????????????­???????????????

No I will not be shaving down the nails, I like the unfinished look to the guitar this way. I have a dremel but i like this guitar the way it is. I will make others that don't have nails sticking out. Thanks for the comment.
