Tom Welling Supernatural story

Transcript:

Jared: In Asylum, the episode Asylum in the first season, Smallville was shooting right next to Supernatural, and we had this scene, we were just driving up in the Impala, and so between every take we'd drive back, and we happened to see Tom, he was walking to his trailer, so we honked or something, and he's like, "Hey!" So we came over, we started chatting, and we're like, they're calling for us, they're saying action over the walkie.

So he just hopped in the car, and we drove in, and no one knew, no one knew that he was there, so we just drove up to set, out gets Jensen, out gets me, out steps Clark Kent. Everybody's like, "What the heck... Who... Who's that guy you're... That's Tom!" We had a laugh, but I don't know why it didn't make it to the [gag reel]. I think it was before we knew we would go for a full season, so we didn't know we were gonna need a gag reel, or have a gag reel. So it was lost forever.

Misha: And probably also you would have had to pay him a million dollars.

Jared: He owns the rights to the show now. For that shot!

@ccr41981 Yes, like in those TV shows, characters die all the time but for most of them, it's temporary :D But I guess I wouldn't want to die forever.

"t was before we knew we would go for a full season" what the heck? Supernatural wouldn't have been cancelled in the middle of season. The fanbase is kinda stable.

They should do a show w/some the cast members of smallville and call it "somebody save me." Welling and Rosenbaum play 2 agents from out of town and have to team up w/Jensen and Jared. Have indirect jokes about the smallville show like the 4 of them walk into a diner and Remy Zero's "Somebody Save Me" is playing and Jensen says turn this crap off. And a couple of kids are at another table arguing whose super powers you'd want and Welling walks over and says "I'd go w/Superman's."It'd be Awesome

Tom, Jared and Jensen all auditioned for Smallville..Jensen was actually considered for "Clark" for awhile and of course was later re cast as different character

I think Tom should play Clark Kent on Supernatural. They should somehow work that into the script of one of the funnier episodes. It would've been great for Changing Channels to have the Winchesters appear on Smallville set haha
