Stripping a Scrap Yard Scrapper 5

Was at the shop with mbhanzo when he was stripping a SYS5 so I decided to tape it. If your into this kind of stuff, cool, enjoy.

Aha, "Dads Easy Spray".. thanks for your reply! I live in Sweden, I wonder if we have something similar here.. and what it´s called!?? I´ll look it up - effective stuff :-)

Great knife by the way, it´s frustrating that they only release so few knives as they do.. all three brand names have the same frequence of putting up knives on the websites. But I guess that the "Exchange section" on Bladeforums is the way to go!? I´ve seen some nice prices there.

I think its simply called Stripper. Any stripper should work.

Yeah I hear what your sayin about the Busse family knives. I too find the BF exchange to be the best place to find them at great prices.

I think the knife looks better without the coating, but it is a mighty fine knife either way!!

I stripped my Ka-Bar with CitriStrip. It works very slowly, but is gentle and won't harm the leather handle.

Nice vid... Did he do the coating on the other two knives he had to compare the light spots? I assume they were powder coated what coating did you use instead? Nice vid def enjoyed next time do sum explaining of what u doing! Lol

Wish I'd gotten the LE version, but I'm always too late on the grab for these.
