The Official Debut North America Ad Campaign for KILLZONE 2, tag lined "KILLZONE 2 - War. Perfected."

"In anticipation of the Killzone 2 release, SCEA will also be launching a new television ad campaign this week in collaboration with Killzone 2 developer Guerrilla Games, Los Angeles based Zoic Studios and ad agency Deutsch LA. Coined the Bullet commercial, the new ad was rendered entirely in-engine via the incredible power of the Killzone 2 engine and PS3 technology to preserve the unique visual and epic gameplay experience.

Every single frame of this commercial was directly rendered on a PS3 without the need for additional tweaking or touching up. We're very proud that our game engine technology has reached the point where we don't have to resort to software pre-rendering, said Hermen Hulst, Managing Director. In that regard it is a testament to our commitment to deliver on what we promise. What you see is what you get.

SCEA will also be releasing a playable version of the ad, where users can control the camera view to explore the behind-the-scenes techniques used to create the ad. This version will also include a directors commentary explaining the teams efforts to develop a campaign that was true to the actual gaming experience"

i think that this commercial truly magnifies how interested people are in war. i love videos games and i dont deny that this isnt fun. but "war perfected" sounds like emphasis on fascination with it. and in real life it cant be perffect cause human behavior is way too chaotic. plz keep in mind that this stuff should stay in videogames cause there is no respawn in reality.

"War Perfected" is basically them saying that this video game portrays war, chaos, epicness etc better than any other game. Remember its just a game, not real life. And I have played this game, best feeling of war and chaos in a game yet, IMO.

@53C7012X it's actually not hard to spend that much on a computer to make it good at running games, my power mac can run video games just fine, and it's a 900 dollar value new, or it was, putting in a really good capture card is like 150-200$, and if i wanted to max out my ram for max performance, forget about it, it'd cost about 1100$

either way, consoles are better price-wise, because with all that ^^, it'd be barely better than a ps3 graphics and performance wise

I got a regular run of the mill PC that runs games just fine, recently i got this 500$ pc and it runs games with beautiful graphics, but i still like playing on my ps3 and wii more... Duno console gaming is just for me i can't get used to the controls on a comp.. 2000 dollars is overkill though unless you got no where else to spend the money, got some time, and you just happen to have the money around.. I dont get though wats the difference, you play the game either way... console or pc..

Why would you not want exaggerated blood and gore, why would you not want to buy one game and get access to mods that are essentially full games (Counter strike, killing floor). @TheINfamousrocker *sigh* get some facts before criticizing PC gaming. 2200 dollars is an overkill and you know it. I spent about 500 dollars on a PC that has MUCH better visuals than consoles. It IS a big difference. Maybe not when it comes to games like MW2 or Assassins Creed, but PC offers much better visuals, higher resolutions, miles better technology, larger worlds, ect.
