(June 13, 2010) Stanford University's 119th Commencement took place on June 13, 2010. In her remarks, United States Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice, '86, challenged the graduates to innovate and serve; to shape change and "be that change, not for an election, but for a lifetime."

More than 25,000 family members and friends gathered in Stanford Memorial Stadium to cheer on the class of 2010 as the university awarded 1,722 bachelor's degrees; 2,100 master's degrees; and 980 doctoral degrees.

  • My comment on doctors without border. If they work with their heart in that particular country. But not for specific intelligence as spies And take orders from them which is about treatment of their clients, I was a victim of ill treatment of a dental technician I realy hopes they do not take their bad work to the poor country mar kjartansson 24t blog Mingler.dk

  • @MishuTaste these universities cater to the elite. anyone else who attends using loans will end up learning what will make money to pay back the loans. but as for the elite. let me tell you a bit about them. like the Enron bunch. principally and foremost beyond their penchant to infiltrate and micromanage everything, is their blatant incompetence. and part of that is the method of learning necessary in the collegiate situation. it caused the brain to cannibalize itself. dumber upon graduation.
