At least Obama supports renewable energy. If the Republicans had their way we would rapidly increase the amount of offshore drilling on America's coasts.

Why would it matter if Obama called the CEO of BP, I don't understand how that would have solved anything??? Obama ensured that BP pay for every penny it would cost to clean up the Gulf. Calling the CEO to "give him a piece of his mind" would only create more problems.

Repubs passed Gramm Leach Bliley Act and the Goldman Sachs Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention Act to lower restrictions and enforcement on the banking industry. Their policy of limited govt oversight resulted in the economic collapse!
