Canon VIXIA HF S10 Videocam Test

I'm really excited to be one of the new owners of this full HD camera. It's a beast in performance and quality - but very light and very compact. Holding the camera takes a little getting used to, especially after the Sony DCR-PC1000, but the video quality is just amazing. This camera is going to WOW you!

@vicioussource I thought your video looked good - your panning and zooming btw are very steady (great job!) I also like the scenes, its like being there, I enjoyed watching it. As far as the video quality, the only difference I can see is the brightness. Maybe because I shot during really bright summer days (when I lived in the US), and I don't know about Ontario, but here in Vancouver, BC its been gray and dull a lot! :( Cheers - thanks again for sharing, I enjoyed it!

@bootsluzer Hey, the ONLY post processing was a little stabilization (they were all hand held shots, so I had to minimize those shakes a little bit) other than that, the quality, the colors, It's out of the box!

Whats the difference between HFS10 and HFS100?

@ADVERTlSEMENT One of them is, the 100 has 32 gb and the 10 has 64 gb. I think there's also a difference with the CMOS sensor but I'm not sure.

@ADVERTlSEMENT The s10 and s100 is the same camera, only difference is the s10 has 32 internal memory and you also add a memory card. The s100 does not have an internal memory but you can add a card up to 64 bit i believe maybe higher.
