Video includes sections of the road from Hite (a name stolen from the original community, settled by Cass Hite and now buried beneath Lake Powell. Damn this dam.) to the Wall, the Dollhouse, and a little bit of the drive back. Teapot Canyon, the roughest section of the drive, is featured sporadically - mostly through the easy parts. With only two people making the trip, and one driving while the other spots, video is awfully hard to capture. The section of the drive through Teapot took approximately 4 hours to drive 5 miles. Total drive time from Hite to The Wall was slightly less than 7 hours. With a bit more experience, the drive out took considerably less - only ~5 hours from The Wall to Hite.

  • NICE video! Might want to take a dramamine before the last few minutes of the vid if you have a weak stomach!

  • @etr102 That's the Utah desert for ya

  • Great video! Looks like you had so much fun! Really admire how you took your time and, Lady, you did a great job spotting Josh. So often you meet people who don't know what they're doing or don't spot and they're stuck or broke down or tear up the trail. Sounds like you did everything right!

  • Wow, this scenery looks just like Red Dead Redemption!

  • I looks like a good place to walk.

  • Congrats! I did that trip last year in my Jeep pulling a trailer (videos in my profile) via the Hans Flat Ranger Station to the Maze overlook to Dollhouse #3 then to Hite to the Hole in the Rock trail. It took 8 days and it was awesome. A buddy and I did it then. It was so nice we are taking the families in a few weeks to do the whole thing over again. Well done. Did you tweaked anything on the rig (did it drive home as well as it did getting there).

  • great video. ive been to dollhouse twice in rented jeep wranglers, and its unbelievable any vehicle could make it. was supposed to take my ranger this fall, but my buddy got sick and the trip got scrapped. i wasnt sure my stock ranger could make it, so its comforting to see it can be done.

  • I barfed.

  • I took the road before Hanksville, UT. I believe Hans Flat station. About 30 mi gravel, 30 off road. But the range on the rented Wrangler wouldnt allow enough gas to go to deep in the trails. Did reach the rim... : )

Great stuff guys, keep it up!

  • wow this looks amazing!
