The air intake is from Bomz Racing... almost identical to a K&N Cold Air Intake kit. You can get them on eBay for about $30 including shipping. I gained about 1MPG and then immediately lost it when I went to 20" rims and all terrain tires!

hey the next thing you got to do is put a flowmaster super 40 muffler on it and a magnaflow catalytic converter, it makes all the difference in the world! i cant stop drivng my jeep now because i love the sound when you floor it! (mine is a 4.0 as well)

Does it make a difference in your performance. I have a 2001 Grand Cherokee 4.0 2X4 and been thinking about getting one.

I don't know about performance, but I gained 1MPG. I then added 20" wheels and that robbed my 1 MPG gain.

Have you ever tried it offroading?! Answer the fucking question. I know it won't work going racing everywhere but when I was stuck, I flipped this on and it got me out. Waste of money, lean out your air filter and put on on a FLowmaster and Cat, youll see a bigger difference.

yeah, i have a jeep. im not a wj tuner, i have a lift and a few other things for off roading, thats about it. i just think it ridiculous to drift in a jeep, like i've seen people in zj's try to drift like their in skylines or imprezas. its crazy. buy a ricer if you want to drift. its a "off roading svu", it says "trail rated" on the side of the thing, not "drift approved" or something like that. its a waste i think, thats just my opinion. do what ever you want though.
