  • Chess (Chaturanga) was invented in India.  What has it got to do with Columbus ?

  • Ah. Big surprise: "Comment Pending Approval", you self-important egomaniac. The beard, your tone of voice... all that's missing is a jacket with elbow patches and you'd be the textbook definition of a third-rate college professor, "doctor". I take comfort knowing that you'll be old and dying soon and you'll have to reflect on who you are and how you behaved, unable to escape yourself or your fate any longer.

  • Please take some public speaking classes or "use your indoor voice" before addressing more than two people again. I can't even watch this.

  • WRONG. The bishop did not mvoe one square. It moved two, on a diagonal, jumping over any piece in the way.

  • Chess was invented in INDIA - they used to call it CHATURANGA (literally meaning 4 sides being rook,knight,bishop and pawn). It spread to europe by arabic people who were doing business in INDIA. Europe changed few rules but originally it was invented in INDIA.
