For the price difference between the two, the 130i holds up amazingly well considering it's not actually an M car, or the fastest in the 1 Series range!! The 130i is a fabulous car and a purer drivers' car than the X5M, in my opinion. It's just a naturally-aspired, 3.0-litre straight-6 with 265bhp, RWD, perfect 50/50 weight distribution and a fantastic manual 6 speed 'box. X5M is all computers, turbos and uneven weight distribution. Despite the power penalty, I'd rather take a 130i on the track.

@671noname is that sarcasm? :L (with a 5l and 4 wheel drive) the x6 is bound to win :L however on a motorway or from a roll it would be very close :)
