  • Great man, great mind....a perfect example of somebody that did wrong in his early life, and has learned from their mistakes, as a human usually should....saldy so many people nowadays make mistakes, and are proudn of them.

  • Well Zinn said it: If Obama continues to fight in Iraq (check); sends more troops to Afghanistan (check); No bold measures on economic front (check), then people will blame Obama.

Obama turned out to be more disappointing than any other US president, because we never had such high hopes with any before him. The higher the rise, the harder the fall I guess.

  • i love Howard Zinn,was a great man!

  • @Oxa1 I absolutely agree with you, I think it would do the USA a great favor and make the country a force for positive and progressive change all over the world. Unfortunately most ordinary people in the U.S. are not very educated, and oif they are, they are not very well read or aware of global and international affairs. Thus the U.S. masses are easily swayed and controlled by fear mongering rethoric from right wing pundits and hence will vote for those that the socio-economic elites prefer.

  • @covertcovenant why cant ppl like Howard Zinn, Noam Chomsky and Naomi Klein rule internal and external policies..be like voices or the concsience of america.

  • Rest in peace Howard Zinn. You were an amazing men

  • Maybe I missed it, but where did he talk about Ralph Nader?

Howard Zinn was a great man.

  • He does not sound like a tough grizzled old soldier but some kind of dandified Nancy boy, who is afraid of wars and he is indubitably no sea-dog but the sort of pasty landlubber I have always despised. I'll warrant, the most exciting thing that has happened to this limpid prawn in a whole year, was the day when he forgot to put sugar in his porridge!
