Wouldn't it be a blessing if all the people working so hard to fight love put their efforts at fighting hate?
-
opposing gay marriage and adoption is a hate crime in my book.

@lillith886 I so agree. If male/female couples can marry and hold hands with one another, why the hell can't same-sex couples marry and hold hands? Where's the threat in that?

Grr-eat Peace Sign at the end! Thanks for sharing this:-)

Meg Christian's version of this song is so powerful. We all need to work together to help end all the hate crimes!

Yes, John Calvi wrote this in the early 1980's. He attended a concert of Megs and sent a cassette of this song backstage to Meg. A while later, Meg asked if she could sing this at Carnegie Hall Nov. 26, 1982. The royalties from that performance of this song helped him buy his first massage equipment. It would be wonderful to know how many times this song has helped a beautiful soul.

Love this but you need to get rid of the "gay is the new black" poster in your montage. it's offensive and divisive.

TIMELESS!

Beautiful, just beautiful.
this is really beautiful. I hope this year the world and the US will come to their senses and see that happiness is all that matters.

Thanks for your comment and your foresight. It is sad, isn't it, that history is full of majorities punishing (or worse oppressing)minorities who have done nothing but be *different*. Fortunately there are always rebels and non-conformists who refuse to settle for that oh-so-lame-excuse: "this is the way things have always been* :-)
