Logitech G25 with GTR2 - Corvette C5R on SPA

A rather slow lap (for the sake of showing the wheel) with the Corvette C5R on Spa Francorchamps in GTR2.

All driving aids are off and so are the automatic gearbox/clutch. The wheel is set up at 540° of rotation and I'm using the H-pattern shifter to change gears.

I highly recommend this awesome wheel for anybody who loves driving and wants to have a realistic driving experience on the PC or other consoles. It was worth every penny in my opinion.

The video was taken with a Cannon A560 digital camera installed on a custom mount made out of a kitchen chair, G25 box and about a hundred magazines. :D

The screen, for whoever cares, is a 22" widescreen Samsung 262BW, which I can also easily recommend to anybody.

Ok, time to resolve some issues.

First of all, my driving in the vid sorta sucks since I was still getting used to the G25 back then. I still had no experience with altering the steering lock/sensitivity or anything. Currently, I am able to set up the cars in the game much more effectively, resulting in much less hand cross overs.

Secondly, speaking of cross overs, while they're not exactly the best thing to do on public roads since they greatly minimize the turning ability of the vehicle; they can be quite useful on a race track when a large steering angle has to be achieved in minimum time. Besides, most race cars have much less degrees of steering rotation, resulting in a steering potential that can be exploited with great success using cross overs...
