The republicans are trying to play the GSEs as scapegoats for the financial crisis. As usual they scratch the surface until they find a suitable body to wave around. Dobbs has been blaming the CRA, which is pure shit. The CRAs created less than 10% of the failed loans.

The true sign of a desperate candidate, resorting to flat out bald face lies. Not only will McCain lose, he will be so discredited he will now fade from relevancy and from sight rather rapidly after Nov 4th.
McCain is a Ford Maverick, an outdated obsolete clunker that wasn't even any good in it's heyday, to the scrapheap of history with him and his Edsel of a running partner.
