  • excellent footage, how did you get it to look so sharp on you tube ? check out my hv20 25p footage too !

  • Thanks, do a search on "ken stone compressor youtube", that article is what I used.

  • How did you achieve the lighting?? Is it natural light or how??

  • Everything is natural light except the last shot which used a regular old flexi-head floorlamp.

  • Very sharp and clean. Did you go through a lot of steps from m2t to youtube?

  • My comment doesn't seem to be showing up. Anyway, I just did Final Cut Pro > Compressor > YouTube using a Compressor-to-YouTube guide I found online.

  • what song is this?

  • and did you do pulldown removal?

  • what form of compression was this?

  • If you're using High Definition, then things are gonna be more complicated. The good news is that you can capture the video really easily using a free program called HDVsplit (do a Google search for it).

  • First, make sure you plug it in with Firewire instead of USB. If you record in DV (non high-definition) then you can capture the video really easily by going to Windows Movie Maker (Start - Accessories - Entertainment - Windows Movie Maker) and clicking on File and then Capture.

  • what shutter speed did you use

  • Yes, but it does not come with a firewire cable or software for video capture. You've got to buy that separate. It's worth it though... the HV20 is an AMAZING camcorder!

  • yeh it does

  • does the HV20 have a firewire port on it so i can upload it onto my mac?

I'm getting one and i'm pretty clueless
