Shhhh, it's not longer "acceptable" to recognize a good game when too many people have played it and it's been out for too many years. Elements that made it groundbreaking in its day? You shouldn't admit it if you're old enough to even remember how innovative it actually was! /end sarcasm

People always want to let everyone know how much of a video game connoisseur they are by calling this or that game "overrated." It's a game, FFS, turn on, tune in, drop out.

@jackofsticks It's only overrated because of the attention it gets from FPS whores and such. Halo in general (like bioshock) has an amazing score and a really great storyline

A great shooter, and yet it's also quite overrated. The twist was stupid. There, I said it. The whole story went downhill after that. It's also just System Shock 2 with less RPG elements, but still it's one of the finest shooters made in the last 10 years.

@julienlego I would have to disagree. First off FF7 is one of the most over-rated video games out there. FF7 is just your typical "group of unlikely heroes save the world. Bioshock just reaches people on a deeper level. Its main conflicts are drawn from real extremist ideologies carried out by a small cast with interesting and developed characters. That and Bioshock is just more fun to play than any rpg.
