Opaque Restaurant: Recreating The Senses

When one of our senses fails, the handicap often heightens the sensitivity of the other senses. The Opaque restaurant in Los Angeles, America, makes use of this to create a new concept of a restaurant. It allows its customers to experience dining on a whole new different level by heightening our sense of taste, smell and touch. Customers place their orders in a lighted room before being led into a pitch black area to have their meals. The servers are also blind or visually handicapped but trained to provide a truly unique and unorthodox dining experience to every customer!
