The official U.S. unemployment rate now stands at 9.4 percent. The economy has lost more than 6 million jobs in the current recession. As bad as those numbers are, a new report from the New America Foundation finds that unemployment is more severe than reported by the Bureau of Labor Statistics. And even as optimistic commentators have seized upon the "green shoots" of recent stock market gains and slowing rates of job loss, the report warns that the U.S. economy is headed toward a "jobless recovery" that could perpetuate the banking and housing crises.
Senator Sherrod Brown (D-OH) will join Leo Hindery, Jr., Chairman of the Smart Globalization Initiative at the New America Foundation, to discuss the jobless recovery, its threat to our long-term economic health, and potential solutions.
I can't wait to vote him out. I write to him and always get the same response. He knows what we need and his constituents are too stupid too understand. He does word it very nicely. I will give him that but he does not care about what we want.

Sherrod Brown is a party line voter who is killing OH jobs left and right, his "tack on" to the clean energy bill a friend in the house added for him is a complete farce.
Read between the lines, this guy is a big goverment goon!!
He gets letters and phone calls from angry constituents and refuses to break from his party line voting and Obama worship. We can't wait to vote him out in 2010!!!!!
