  • I will have to see your other Christmas tune(s) before I can determine whether to make this one a favorite, but it is a candidate. How did you achieve such sombre lighting? Also, I really like the line at 1:05 -- you haven't kissed me (wink!).

  • @GregoryTheGr8ster Hahaha! I haven't mastered lighting yet, far from it....this was my first attempt at getting a chilled out vibe.....so it's nice to hear you think I succeeded! I used a spotlight on the floor and covered it up with a hat to shield some of the light out.....unfortunately the visual quality suffered a bit....need to learn new tricks! :D

  • @zunistevenson Yeah, that is strange. Nobody needs heartache. Been down that road myself too many times. Fortunately the stuff I put up is uninteresting to most folks ( except for maybe Mo Playing ( the rest is primarily weather related stuff ). Damn it, I'm ready to shut down, and my box is filling with reports from the Forum. Guess I'll have to go over there and see what the hell is going on. Anyway, the blocks do wonders for unwanted posts. : )

  • @WambliPeta HAHAHA

  • @coastie378 Yeah, the strange thing is the guy also subscribed to me and favourited some of the tunes but also came on my page writing offensive things to me....hahahaha! I just block people like that..not useful to me to come across people like that who are all over the place....I reply to people who have constructive things to say to me but anyone who has something nasty to say just gets zapped. In the past I would be inclined to respond but it only brings you heartache so there;s not point.

  • @coastie378 Yeah, I don't know why that is....maybe to stop spam or something. And Private message, bah! I can't deal with that no more...takes too long....for some reason I find it easier to process comments than messages...strange huh? Just seems easier to keep track of because I don't get any spam in here.....

  • @zunistevenson Hi Zuni, one further thought on this. That poster obviously pulled that comment out of his ass. He definitely can't distinguish the difference between a "Muscian" and a "Composer". Most Vocalists / Musicians do stuff that is written ( Composed) by someone else. I put up with stuff like that on a regular basis on the forums. Usually I can get rid of it before it is seen by the intended target, then I deal with the poster. Hope you've had a good day so far. : )

  • This is getting frustrating. I was posting that last comment and ran out of space before I could finish my thoughts. Not like the forums, where there are no restrictions ( of length ) and if there is something I want to say to someone that I don't want to post on the public forums, I can PM ( Private Message ) them. : p Anyway, I took to recording sessions so I could go back and revist things ( used an old Akai reel to reel deck with two mics, one for each track ).

  • @zunistevenson Hi Zuni, My comments come from the heart, don't know where that other post comes from. When I had an apartment, I has a spare room and did my stuff in there ( natural reverb of a sort ). I would sit there and a phrase would come to mind ( " Forever and a day " was one I remember ). I would start messing with chords and melodies along with expanding that phrase into something. Problem is, I don't read or write music ( play by ear ), so would forget what I did. Started recording.
