Rarely was Tom without a cigarette.

This used to be one of my favorite shows,
Tom Snyder was always interesting and a good sport, Funny how back in the 70s everyone smoked...miss those more open-minded and relaxed times,..they were a lot more fun than the politically-correct straight-jacket we're forced to wear now.

The voiceover sounds very familiar in "Benny & Barney: Las Vegas Undercover". But who voiced the promos with Bob Hope?

Great to see Tom Snyder and the Tomorrow show again...along with the old commercials!

This had to have aired at 1 a.m. on January 7, 1977 (Friday) because "The Midnight Special" aired at 1 a.m. on Saturday, January 8.

Fantastic find! Thanks for sharing!
This particular airing was after 1977 - the year that 97.1 FM in New York became WYNY, "Movin' Easy Y." In 1976, 97.1 was WNWS "NewsCenter 97," the flagship of NBC's ill-fated "News & Information Service" radio network.

IMDB says "Benny & Barney: Las Vegas Undercover" premiered on January 9, 1977, so that would make this January 8th (after midnight) or 9th depending on their definition of "Tomorrow". Something from early '77 (don't remember what, I put it on another disc) was taped over the beginning of this, so I thought this would be from '76 but guess I was a few days off.

Also thought the Bob Hope show was a Christmas special, but guess it wasn't.
