He was mixed up. But his contemporaries seemed to like him. Gas is a play on words but he referenced Belsen. The point was Nazi death camps and the enemy is the Nazis. Pesrsonally I thought he looked great but I wasn't keen on him. He did some nasty things

@Roscov3 youve missed the point of the song hes not saying there as gas chambers in belsen he was saying gas as in laugh likethe ramones song lifes a gas , the germans use to advertise thes camps as fun to convince the jews to go little did the jews know that they were work camps and death camps and thats what this song is about

@tamaria6564 "uneducated" "the biggest crock of shit" so i suppose an actual interview with sid saying so doesnt compensate , pro nazi when sids friends have also said he isnt (nancy also happens to be a jew) , sid wasnt pro nazi he used alot of nazi things to bring it a new meaning or take the swastika for examply originally was a symble of peace , and the nazis did used to advertise camps to jews as being fun FACT only because you dont know does not make it uneducated
