As a member of the NCAA at the Division III level, Virginia Wesleyan College cannot give athletic scholarships, and we recognize that our athletes are students first. In recruiting student-athletes, we look not only at athletic ability but also at classroom performance. In late February, 56 student athletes were honored at a basketball halftime for their Dean's List accomplishments this last fall.
