Wonder where this outrage was in the 70s when Mexico's Ixtoc rig had a spill twice as large as this. The Gulf didn't die then, it won't now. Yes, this is a Very Bad Thing, but the Earth has been around much longer than we have, it's a pretty resilient thing, and no matter how much we pat ourselves on the back for "taming" it, nature always wins in the end.

oh gosh this makes everything better!!! the oil leak has stopped but THE OCEAN WILL NEVER BE THE SAME AGAIN. who gives a shit that they are taking responsibly. how dare they make it seem like their doing us a favor. they should fucking die!!!!
