    What a shame. Thompson was the best player to ever wear a Nuggets jersey.. There is no doubt in my mind he would have brought this town a title if he hadn't let his demons take his career away from him. Bill Simmons said it best: Young David was more exciting to watch than Young Michael.

    Dude a 42" vertical leap is NOT "slightly above average". This guy was a flat out stud, and could play against anyone in any era. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a fool.
