Brandy Sneezing

She's so freaking cute♥ Brandy is available for adoption! (her puppies all have tons of applications in for them)
Brandy is a gorgeous 55lb, brindle mixed breed with an incredible story.

We know Brandy had a home at one time shes housetrained, gentle with cats and dogs and great with kids but Brandy was abaondoned, most likely because she was pregnant. Someone saw her wandering in a wooded area and brought her to the local pound a kill pound. Two weeks later, Brandy gave birth to ELEVEN puppies!
Working together with other rescuers, Sadie Mae Foundation became aware of Brandys story and committed to helping this dog family in need. Volunteers are helping Brandy raise her puppies. All the pups will be ready to go to adoptive homes at the end of January 2012. Brandy will then be ready for her forever home too!

Brandy's foster mom can't say enough nice things about her. She greets all strangers as if they were her friends. She is playful with dogs and respectful of cats. Brandy has been around children and has shown them nothing but love and affection.

Brandy's favorite thing to do is carry her stuffed animals all around the house. She likes to collect all the toys in the house and put them on her bed. She doesn't destroy any of them though. She just likes having them nearby and walking around the house with them wherever she goes.

Brandy has some spunk to her and sometimes doesn't realize she is 55 lbs. She has a bad habit of jumping up on people (which her foster mom is working with her on). She also believes she is the perfect size to be a lap dog! Silly girl.

Brandy is healthy and 100% fully housetrained. She has never had an accident in her foster home. She really would make a great addition to many homes out there.

While in the care of the Sadie Mae Foundation, all animals are fully vaccinated, heart worm tested and spayed or neutered. Other medical treatments may be provided to our animals, depending upon their specific needs.

Additionally, we ordinarily limit adoptions to homes within CT or no more than an hour or so drive from Hartford, CT in order to be able to conduct a home visit and provide follow-up assistance when necessary. Exceptions are considered on a case-by-case basis.
