You know what the same thing here applies to Chicanos. There are plenty of Mexicans in America who are teachers, lawyers, students, engineers and doctors. We aren't just drug dealers and maids. They have to show more than the bad because you'll just continue to enforce stereotypes. I speak english, I got to college, I vote, I work for what I earn instead of stealing it or using welfare checks and it's possible to be a proud American and still hold onto your culture. I do that everyday!
