F-22 Raptor Demonstration

2008 Joint Services Open House
Andrews AFB, Maryland
Sunday May 18, 2008

IN THIS VIDEO, watch as Major Paul "Max" Moga flies the Raptor through a very dynamic demonstration over Andrews AFB. Keep in mind that the aircraft used in the demo profile is in its combat configuration, as opposed to the demos you've seen in Sukhois and MiGs, which are flown in a clean configuration. This is also a new demo profile, which debuted in March 2008.

Like what you've seen? Well, if you are interested in purchasing DVDs of specific aircraft and/or of airshows, interested in anything and everything related to airshows (where the jet teams will show up, all airshow performers, airshow reports from airshows I have attended, previews of airshows I will be attending, etc.), a much more easier to navigate "version" of all of my videos, and/or everything there is related to aviation - including spotting guides to my favorite airports and military bases and aircraft factfiles, please take time to check out Steve's Airshow World at http://www.stevesairshow.com .

  • This thing is SO bad ASS

  • The Russian planes have nowhere near the control of the F-22. That's just a function of having a much more advanced deisgn and flight control computer. The Raptor does things with its control surfaces that no other plane in the world can do right now.

  • If only i had an extra $159.9 Million...

  • F-22 = badass

  • Love this Bad Boy!!!!

  • @ 11:20

Makes this demo stand out from the rest.

    Nicely done.

  • Thats what i mean, superior usually means nothing can compete with it, thats what i think is silly about the situation.

  • "the thing i dont get is their is a big argument as to which aircraft is best, and it seems to be a one sided argument, as the Raptor is aparently superior to anything in the skies"

Not really the argument I'm trying to make. If I had to put money on which aircraft will come off better when there pitted against each other eventually then my money is on the Raptor. The only argument for me is over how much better.

  • Yes MrPikon, obviously the Typhoon is slightly more advanced than say a Tornado lol, the thing i dont get is their is a big argument as to which aircraft is best, and it seems to be a one sided argument, as the Raptor is aparently superior to anything in the skies, although the only proof i have is that it dominates against Tornado's and F-111's flown by Australian's, which lets admit the F-15E has done for the last 10 years.
