British Parliamentary Demo Debate part3

The IDEA Youth Forum is a two-week summer event aimed at bringing 200 high school students and their teachers together to attend debate training sessions and to engage in discussions on current issues. This year we will be discussing the topic of energy and climate change and youth issues. Participants from over 30 countries are divided into small groups in order to engage in a personalized learning process, which allows for cultural exchange amongst diverse groups of students, teachers and educators.

Here is the answer: After first minute of each speech opponent team members can stand up and ask the speaker question or give a comment. Of course the speaker have the right to accept the question or not. This is why people saying 'no thank you', and 'sit down' etc.

hi i'm from the philippines and a rookie when it comes to this latest trend in debate.

by the way, we will conduct a provincial interschool debate on nov. 19 and i'm assigned as the deputy prime minister.
