Iran Missile Test

"Three, two, one, zero..ignition,,BLAST OFF!"

*Iranian officials said the test held on the 9th and 10th of July demonstrated a launch of nine missiles including a "new" Shahab 3 missile with a range of 2,012 km. Such a missile would put much of West Asia in striking distance, including Israel, 1,045 km from Iran, as well as Turkey, Pakistan and the Arabian peninsula. The second test firing came just hours after a warning from the United States about such missile launches. The weapons were fired from ships in the Persian Gulf and from on the ground. Although some experts say that their technological capability is not as accurate and powerful as Tehran claimed, it is evident that the missile testing was a signal against the international tension regarding Iran's nuclear program. Iran has been negotiating with the permanent members of the U.N. Security Council and Germany, which have offered economic and other incentives to Tehran in exchange for the suspension of its nuclear program. Iran's missile test was also considered as a message in response to Israel's military excersies held a month ago, that was seen as a practice run for a future attack on Iran's nuclear facilities.

Iran claims they want Israel to be wiped off the map, but seeing as how Jerusalem, a holy city to Muslims, is the capital of Israel, I don't think they want to do it through nuclear warfare.

Also, I don't think the Israelis can really invade Iran that well. They might get special forces and their air force in, but their population is less than London's. So an attack by either side would be stupid for both of them.
