I love how Chevrolet shows off its durability/fatigue cycle testing. This is how they're able to build cars so that they will fall apart immediately after the warranty expires. Nice job!

@happy543210 GM released the Volt at the exact wrong time. Toyota had very little competition for many years and was able to build up a loyal customer base. Within three years GM will have all sorts of competition to deal with, including possibly India and China, not to mention S. Korea. I have a Volt, and it really is a great car, but there will be many to choose from in the near future.

They need to make a "Powermat" for the Chevy volt so you just drive into your garage over a charging pad and it automatically starts charging.
