Most Ridiculous Ticket Ever

This was recorded back in April. I was pulled over because my passenger was filming cars on the way to a car show. I ended up getting the ticket which read "Videotaping on authority property". I feel this ticket is not only ridiculous, but unbelievably unconstitutional.

I was asked to remove it for various reasons, so I did (originally had 20,000 views) but after a few phone calls (including one to the ACLU), I have decided to post it back up.

Not unblocking the face... even though the cop showed me no respect by pulling me over for no reason I don't believe in eye for an eye. I can show respect even though none was shown to me. This video isn't about this single cop, it's about everyone who thinks they can do what they want cause they wear a uniform. Its not the face its the badge... thats all you need to see. I'm not unblocking his face.

That cop is a fascist, don't give him the courtesy of hiding his face. Un-blank his face so the rest of NJ will be able to recognize him as a fascist when they see him. It is your RIGHT to film in public, and the NJ Turnpike, regardless of the toll, IS a public roadway, not a private one (since it was commissioned by the STATE, which is funded by taxpayer money).

Anyway, I do hope you know that you can upload another version without the cop's face blurred out and you won't go to jail.

Please unblank the officers face. The officers had no authority whatsoever to have you remove the video. They are public servants in public. The ticket is bogus and you should fight it. I REPEAT, THEY HAVE NO AUTHORITY TO STOP YOU FOR RECORDING CARS GOING BY ON A PUBLIC ROAD. The officer committed a federal offense by stopping you for the passenger recording. Why have you blocked the officers face, He is on a public road, a public servant and had NO expectation of privacy, You have every right and a obligation to your country to see to it that officers who abuse your constitutional rights are accountable.
