@ForbodingAngel Oh well I'm just happy to see that FOS-Games can be advanced and as good as a commercial one ^^
Libre software is the future!

@grogmaninteractive
Thanks, however, please understand that this game has 0 in common with supreme commander. Supreme commander was not the first rts to feature a nuke at the end of a trailer vid.
This game uses the Spring Engine. It is not a mod, nor does it use the supcom engine.

@ForbodingAngel Not sure what you're on about there; it actually has a lot in common with SupCom.

@MisterLastname
Evo has very little in common with supcom. Evo uses metal spots. This is a holdover from Total Annihilation (1997 - Cavedog). Supcom took it's resourcing from Total Annihilation, not the other way around.
Evo has the "Krabgroth". An obvious stab at both Total Annihilation's "Krogoth" and the Supcom "Monkeylord", just a bit of humor, get over it. For the same reason that the light tank is called the "Blink" (Referencing the "Flash" tank in TA).

@ForbodingAngel
Both games are RTS, Check.
It's also worth noting that in reference to resourcing and the Krabgroth (sorry, misspelled it in the other reply), Evo handles both of these things very differently.
Oh an both games have trailer videos with nukes at the end... Yeah, because Supcom was the first to do that. *snicker*
Also, you should probably know that Evo has existed longer than Supcom. Just took longer to finish it because 1 dev is slower than an entire company of devs.

@ForbodingAngel Why are you so defensive? I'm just saying the games have similarities, not that you've somehow copied SupCom. Both take some nods from TA, such as metal nodes, and have a similar aesthetic (though your unit designs are certainly more interesting than SupCom's).
Side note: god I loved the Flash tank

@MisterLastname Not defensive. Annoyed. The games similarities are things that just about every RTS has in common.
I was all about the Core, myself. Long Exist Central Consciousness! :-)
