I saw this film for the first time yesterday on

TCM and instantly wanted to watch it again. Robert Montgomery, Dame May Whitty, and Rosalind Russell all give superb performances, and the movie is thoroughly engaging and suspenseful. Thanks for posting this!

I thought the old lady might have committed the murder, and that she was faking about being unable to walk. She did, in fact, get out of her wheelchair later, but by then, I already knew who the killer was. Good movie!

This is just great! I've been after this film (and the 60s Albert Finney version) for years – can't get either in any format in the UK, so thanks sooooo much :D You get a CSI "YYEEEEEAAAAAAHHHHHH!!"
