  • Ok, here is what i know. Some molecules which can be found in foods, can shift the ph of the body slightly, but not as a result of the breakdown of foods. An example for such a molecule is reservatrol which can be found in wine. Btw, the Md talks about what will happen if the body gets acidic, and list inflammation. What? This is regulated by Paracrine signaling of histamine, and a sudden release of histamine throughout the body would lead to certain anaphylactic shock. so its highly unlikely.

  • This is pure bullshit. The ph of the body is not regulated by foods! Its directly regulated through Carbonic-Acid-Bicarbonate together with the lungs. There are more buffers but this is the most important one. And for a user called Heamatoxylin Eosin one should expect your knowledge of the matter to be better. But that's the price of being to busy with Histology i guess...
